We have established dedicated teams for security and data protection. We continuously update our security procedures and strive to enhance the safety of our users' data.

3. Information We Collect

It’s clear that we couldn’t help you build meaningful connections without collecting certain information about you, such as basic profile details or the characteristics of the people you want to meet. We also collect information generated during your use of our services, such as access logs, as well as information from third parties—for instance, about access to our services via a social media account or sharing information from such an account to supplement your profile. More detailed information on this is provided below.

Information You Provide to Us

When you use our services, you choose to provide us with certain information, including:

Creating an account: You provide us with at least your phone number and email address, as well as basic information necessary for the service to function, such as gender, date of birth, and who you are looking to connect with.

Filling out your profile: You may share additional details with us, such as your sexual orientation. By providing us with this information, you consent to its use for the purposes specified in this Privacy Policy. You can also provide more information, such as a bio or interests, and share other content like photos and videos. You may also allow us access to your camera or photo gallery to upload specific content like pictures or videos.

Subscribing to a paid service or making a purchase: When you make a purchase directly from us (not through platforms like iOS or Android), you provide us with purchase-related information, and our payment processor receives details such as your debit or credit card number or other financial information.

Participating in surveys, focus groups, or market research: You share your feedback on our products and services, respond to questions, and provide opinions.

Engaging in promotions, events, or contests: We collect the information you use to register or participate.

Contacting customer support: We collect the information you provide during the conversation with our support team.

Providing information about others: If you provide us with information about others (e.g., sharing a friend’s contact details using one of our features), we process it on your behalf to fulfill your request.

Processing your interactions: We also process your conversations with other users and the content you post, as this is essential for the operation of the services and the safety of our community.

Information We Receive from Others

In addition to the information you provide directly, we receive information about you from other sources, including:

Users: Other users may provide information about you when interacting with our services, such as when they interact with you or submit a report that involves you.

Social media: You may share information with us via your social media account, for instance, when you choose to create an account on biznetx.pl using your social media credentials (e.g., Facebook, Google, or Apple), or by sharing information like photos from your social media accounts (e.g., Instagram or Spotify) to our platforms.

Affiliated entities: Biznetx.pl is part of Smoląg Company, owned by Mikołaj Smoląg. User safety is an absolute priority. If you are banned from one of Mikołaj Smoląg - Smoląg Company's services, we may be notified and take appropriate action, including removing your account or preventing you from creating one across our services.

Other partners: We may receive information about you from our partners, for example, when our ads are published in partner services (partners may share details about the campaign’s success). Where legally permitted, we may also receive information from third parties about individuals who are flagged or convicted, to enhance user safety.

Information Generated or Automatically Collected During the Use of Our Services

When you use our services, information is generated about which features you use, how you use them, and the devices you use to access our services. More details are provided below:

Usage information: Data is generated about your activities, such as how you use the services (including login times, features used, actions taken, content viewed, the websites you came from, and interactions with ads) and how you interact with other users (e.g., the users you connect with, interact with, and when you match or exchange messages).

Device information: We collect data from and about the devices you use to access our services, including hardware and software details, such as IP address, device ID and type, app settings, and specifications, app crashes, advertising identifiers (randomly generated numbers you can reset in your device settings and sometimes disable altogether), and identifiers tied to cookies or other technologies to uniquely identify a device or browser.

Information collected by cookies and similar technologies: We and others may use cookies and similar technologies (e.g., web beacons, pixels, SDKs) to recognize you and/or your device(s). For more details on how and why we use these technologies and how to better control their use, see our Cookie Policy.

"Do Not Track" (DNT) signals: Some web browsers (including Safari, Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Chrome) have a “Do Not Track” feature, which informs websites that a user does not want their online activities tracked. Not all browsers offer a DNT option, and DNT signals are not yet uniform. For this reason, many businesses, including Biznetx.pl, currently do not respond to DNT signals.

Other Information Requiring Your Consent:

Precise geolocation data: If you consent, we may collect precise geolocation data (latitude and longitude) from your device. Geolocation data may be collected in the background even when you are not actively using the services, if the consent expressly allows this type of collection. If you do not consent to the collection of geolocation data, we will not collect it, and services requiring precise geolocation may become unavailable.

Photo verification data: If you opt to use our photo verification feature, we will collect facial geometry data to verify your identity, which may be considered biometric data in certain jurisdictions. Learn more about photo verification and how we process facial geometry.

Other information: With your consent, we may collect other data, such as your photos and videos (for example, if you wish to upload a photo, video, or livestream content in our services).

We are currently reviewing our data transfer procedures to our contractors and their legal bases in light of the recent ruling of the Court of Justice of the European Union regarding the transfer of personal data to the USA.

To ensure protection for you and all our members, we may request proof of identity before we can respond to the above requests. Please note that we may deny a request for specific reasons, including if we are unable to verify your identity, if the request is unlawful or unfounded, if it violates trade secrets or intellectual property, or the privacy or other rights of another person. To obtain information regarding another member, such as a copy of messages received from that person via our service, that member will need to contact us and provide written consent before the information can be shared. We may ask that individual to confirm their identity before responding to such a request. Additionally, we may not be able to accommodate certain requests to suspend or limit the processing of personal data, especially if such a request would prevent us from continuing to provide you with our services. 8. How Long We Retain Your Information

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill legitimate business purposes (as outlined in Section 4) and in accordance with applicable laws. If you decide to stop using our services, you may close your account, and your profile will no longer be visible to other users. Please remember that your account will be automatically closed if you do not use it for a period of two years. After your account is closed, your personal data will be deleted, as indicated below:

To protect the security of our members, we implement a data retention period for security reasons of three months from the date of account closure or one year from the date of account blocking. During this time, we retain member data in case it is necessary to investigate harmful or unlawful behavior. Such data retention for security reasons arises from our legitimate interest, as well as the interest of potential harmed third parties.

At the end of the data retention period, we delete your data, keeping only essential information for specific purposes, particularly: a) We retain necessary information to ensure compliance with data retention requirements: in particular, according to regulations regarding taxes and accounting, we retain transaction data for 10 years, credit card data for the period during which the user has the right to dispute the validity of the transaction, and traffic data (logs) for one year, as required by data retention regulations. Consents given to us by users are retained for five years as evidence of our compliance with applicable laws.

b) We retain necessary information based on our legitimate interest: we retain customer service processing data and supporting data, as well as non-identifying download/purchase location data for five years to justify our customer service decisions, enforce our rights, and enable us to defend against claims; information about previous accounts and subscriptions, which we delete three years after the last account closure, to ensure proper and accurate financial estimation and reporting; profile data is retained for one year in case of potential legal proceedings, for the establishment, execution, or defense of legal claims; as well as data necessary to prevent users, who were previously prohibited, from creating accounts – for as long as necessary to ensure the safety and vital interests of our users.

c) Additionally, we retain information based on our legitimate interest in cases where a misunderstanding, claim, or dispute has not been resolved or may arise requiring us to retain information (in particular if we receive a legitimate subpoena or legal request to preserve data – in which case we will need to retain data to fulfill our legal obligations – or if the data is otherwise necessary in the context of legal proceedings).

Our services are intended solely for individuals who are at least 18 years old. We do not allow individuals under 18 years old to use our platform. If you suspect that any member is under the age of 18, please use the reporting mechanism available through the services.

In the case of job candidates, the scope of personal data we process varies depending on the position for which recruitment is conducted, but generally includes data provided to us by the candidate in the job application, as well as information about professional qualifications and previous experience and references provided to us by employment agencies and other third parties. We use this information in the recruitment process aimed at signing an employment contract. In the case of contract employees and subcontractor representatives, we may process identification data and work-related data necessary for managing our collaboration with employees and their employers, and for fulfilling the service agreement, as well as for determining, pursuing, or defending potential claims.
